2010 Winter Round 1 Draws28/06/2010

We are calling for entries for Winter Interclub Round two over the next few weeks. Entries close 31 May 2010 with the 9-week competition commencing on 14/15 June.  

NOTE: 

Mondays: Mens Divisions 4 and below & all Juniors. 

Tuesdays: Ladies and the Top 3 Mens divisions, along with the social mens division.

There will be no play for Juniors over the school holidays 5 & 12 July.

 
All entries for Round 2 are to be entered online using the Squash NZ SIT Platform.
Any person with Admin rights is able to enter a team for your club. Please note that the Mens, Mens social, Womens and Juniors are listed as separate events.  Please ensure that teams are entered in the correct event.

 

All results for Round 2 are to be entered online using the Squash NZ SIT Platform.

The hosting team is responsible for entering the results.  Any person with Admin rights or any member of a team is able to enter their teams result.  It is up to the individual clubs to decide whether one person enters all teams results or teams enter their own results.  Instructions for results entry will be sent to clubs after 31 May.

 

Winter Interclub 2010 Fees (all including GST)

Senior Grades = $140 per team for two rounds or $80 one round.

Juniors = $90 per team for two rounds or $50 one round

Masters = $80 per team for one round

Only non-notified defaults will be fined ($30) - see rule 10.  No other fines apply for this competition.

Clubs will be invoiced.

 

If your club/team has special requirements, or your venue is unavailable during Round 2 at any stage please let us know by email by 31 May.

 
Please find below the draws for the Winter Round 1 Robbies on Riccarton Interclub Competition.  Where possible home and away matches have been tied, but unfortunately due to the high number of teams in relation to courts it was not always possible.  This is especially the case at Burnside, Football, Malvern, Richmond and Christchurch.  Have a great competition.
 
This year the team contacts list will be emailed to club captains/team contacts (where supplied on entry) held at the Squash Canterbury office, rather than posted on the web due to privacy issues.
 
NOTE IMPORTANT RULE CHANGE:
  • PAR Scoring to 15, with short (1 point - first to 15) or long (3 points - first to 17) called when the scores are locked at 14-all

Squash Canterbury would like to announce that we have adopted the Squash NZ ruling at their recent AGM about juniors and eyewear at our regional level.  From 1/2/10 it is compulsory for all juniors (aged under 19) to wear eyewear in all forms of squash whether it be junior or senior competition (interclub, tournaments etc.)  This is an important health and safety issue and we thank you for your support. 

NOTE (effective 5 April 2010): A team which contains a junior who doesnt wear eyewear will be docked all of their points for interclub following a protest from the other team.

These will be produced on Monday and emailed aroud the team contacts which were provided at time of entry.  The competition starts on 22/23 March.  Thanks for your patience.  We have had a number of late submissions and new staffing on board for the draw tasks.

Well its nearly that time of the year to brush the cob-webs off the squash racket and play this skilful game!

 

We are calling for entries for Winter Interclub Round one over the next few weeks. Entries close 1 March 2010 with the 9-week competition commencing on March 22/23.   Please work from the current online grading list this is updated more often over the summer with the new system.  Note no games will be played over Easter 5/6 April.

NOTE:  Mondays: Mens Divisions 4 and below & all Juniors.  Tuesdays: Ladies and the Top 3 Mens divisions, along with the social mens division (please note these clearly on entry)

Mastres Interclub 20098/04/2009
Attached is the draw for Masters Ineterclub 2009.
 
Rules are as follows:
 

         7pm start 2 courts per team, 6 players/team

         Best of 5 games.

         American scoring, 5 points deducted per half grade, for higher graded player, also, if a man is playing a woman, then the woman is reduced two full grades to enable evenness of scores (i.e. woman graded C1 would be graded equivalent to mens E1). Clubs just to advise the number of teams entered per club names not required.

         Ball - Single yellow dot.

 
 

2009 Winter Interclub Week 1 draw19/03/2009
The first week draw for Robbies on Riccarton is complete with the division breakdown. The full draw will be available on Thursday the 19th of March.
 
Club Captains are reminded of the launch at Robbies at 6pm, the 19th of March for collection of player packs.
 
The remainder of the draw will be online late Friday.

Information for Round 1

WINTER DRAW

Please be advised that the draw for Winter Interclub will be completed by Wednesday 18 March.  There has been delays due to a number of teams not entering in on time.

PAR SCORING

Following board approval this week, PAR Scoring up to 15 points (win by 2 points), best of 5 games, will be in operation for Round 1, as a trial for Round 2.  There was a lot of positive feedback gathered regarding the trial in Summer Round 2, and this will now be trialled in the cooler temperatures.
