2019 NZ Junior Inter-District Team Championships 

Junior Squad Training_optCanterbury Junior Teams come together in preparation for the Nationals

Last weekend, our Junior Team’s came together for a training camp in Blenheim. The camp went really well, and the kids all put in a fantastic effort!

The next time they will all come together is at the NZ Junior Inter-district Team Championships, which will take place at the beginning of next month in Auckland.

A massive thank you to those for their work behind the scenes in making it all happen; Adam Ordering, Bronwyn Knutson, Richard Aitken, Helen Curd-McCullough, Nic Dann, Tracey Marshall and of course not forgetting the super supportive parents.

A massive thank you also to Marshalls and Nic Dann for their amazing hospitality and Air Rescue for their significant financial support.The Teams;

When: 6– 9 October 2019

Format: 5 Junior Boy and 5 Junior Girls with 2 Managers, 2 Assistant Managers and 2 Coaches. 1 Non-Traveling Reserve per team may also be selected

Team announced: Sunday 11th August at the Canterbury Junior Open Prize Giving 

Please note: Squash Canterbury will only cover the cost of the NZ Teams event; players will be expected to cover their own costs and make their own accommodation arrangements for the NZ individual’s event. In special circumstances, financial support for the individuals may be available.
