A reminder to get your entries in for these upcoming tournaments

Christchurch Interclub

It is getting closer to the end of winter interclub and a reminder of the format as we head into semi's and finals.

  • Most grades have their final round-robin matches this week. Next week will be semi's - 1 vs 4, 2 vs 3, 5 vs 8, 6 vs 7.
  • "Finals" will then be played, which will give final placings in the grade. ALL teams play a semi and a final.
  • Some grades still have a further two weeks of round-robin play. These rounds will go up on iSquash once I know the venues for the semi's. These grades will then play semi's and finals after this.
  • Women's Div 1 will go straight to "finals", eg 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, 5 vs 6. (This was communicated to captains at the start of the round)

ENTERING RESULTS - It is even more important at this stage of the competition that you enter team results as soon as possible. The draw for all grades cannot be created until every result is entered. Please don't hold up the process by being late entering your results. If you cannot access iSquash please contact me and I will enter the result for you.

Congratulations to Canterbury Juniors

Waimea and Nelson Squash Clubs hosted the New Zealand Secondary School's Champs over the weekend. Well done to Christchurch Boys' High who came runner-up. The winners were actually the defending champions, Tauranga Boys' High and Epsom Girl's Grammar.

Five juniors from Canterbury were named in the tournament teams to travel to Australia later this month. Congratulations to Quinn Udy and Joe Williams (senior boys), Lwamba Chileshe and Temwa Chileshe (junior boys), and Amelia Wadsworth (junior girls).
